Eliza, as you may have read elsewhere, Zardoz and I helmed the classic Stoned Trek with Mr. Tribble. If you wish, I'd be greatfully indebted to you if you could come up with some sort of avatar that captured the essence of Mr. Tribble. He's basically Cousin It with a joint!

I cherish every minute I can get away from my computer, at this point. Suit yourself, but make sure you take advantage of the holiday weekend. I can wait, certainly!

Avatars are definitely fun....I wish I could do graphics on the laptop, but a) it's Vista and none of my programs will work on it and b) that little touchpad thing just makes me crazy!

I HATE touchpads, as well as keyboards without the 10key panel.
(I deal with a lot of budgets at work, and HATE it when I'm using my laptop undocked and I have to type in numbers using the ones on top of the letters.) Just in case anyone was wondering about my keyboard preferences.

KJ, this is a first try at yours. I'll come back to it again. I'm not 100% happy with this. But, I want to give something to everyone before I start focusing in on issues. I only used one of your pics because it seemed to me that the Janeway/Chakotay thing is definitely a story, so I tried to tell it...but as I said, I'll come back with more ideas/better execution later.
