I saw the trailer but wasn't really blown away by it, but I also wasn't a fan of Casino Royale I'm afraid. Used to love Bond as a kid so I think for better or worse I have a fondness for the more outlandish ones of the series and the Bourne films were so good, that I think Bourne Supremacy and Ultimatum leave Casino Royale in the shade.

We can take that as a "No, don't think I'll be seeing this one."

Are ya kidding! My cinema buddy will drag me to it kicking and screaming as long as it has Daniel Craig in it without a shirt! Seriously though, I am intrigued by the notion of the story starting off only an hour after the final scene of Casino Royale and how the two are linked so since it's a continuation in a sense I'll give it a go.

Bond was doing it long before Jason was ... Bourne.

The choice of Daniel Craig wasn't the best, IMO.

I think he got a very good mix, but sadly the films he did weren't the strongest (Tomorrow never dies is perhaps the weakest bond film since Octopussy, Die another Day a little overdone). I didn't like Daniel Craig as choice and most people I know think he's great but I still don't warm to him, may QOS will change that!

I liked Brosnan, thought he came the closest to Connery, especially in the first one he did, Goldeneye, it felt much more like one of the old Bond movies, From Russia With Love, Thunderball, etc. Really well done, but I do like Craig quite a bit too, he's just different, a different world, a different Bond, I don't think you can really compare them, it's like apples and oranges.
