I think you'll enjoy Firefly, especially when you watch the movie, Serenity, afterwards.
I hope you end up liking Babylon 5, it's a hard one to follow if you don't
watch it from the first season. If you also watch their movie, "In the Beginning" after season 2, a lot will make more sense to you. IMO, season
2 is the best of all five seasons.

Yeh thats definately the best advice, watch it from the beginning, otherwise by season 3 u will be bogged down with references and you wont have a clue.

and then rewatch it twice, cause then you will notice things being set in motion in season 1 and ending in season 5, reaaly good

I really liked Babylon 5, I cried at the end, sooo good. I liked the character of Morden, very good acting and of course Vir Cotto

Check out Stargate Atlantis also, but you pretty much covered everything I watch! And yeah, Firefly is a great show too, really enjoyed it, just was sort of disappointed by the movie Serenity, it was a good movie, I just didn't like how they killed off two characters and they seemed to write themselves into a hole.

Whenever you watch Galactica check out Razor also, it was a two hour miniseries that takes place towards the end of the second season.

Well you got your work cut out for you, that's alot of scifi viewing!

Dune and the sequel Children of Dune, very good, but the books (as always) are better. They are miniseries by the way
