Angry Star Trek V corridors

Shatner didn't even make an effort to change the corridors of the Enterprise-A in Star Trek V. I mean, I understand they were the same sets and all, but at least make an effort to redress them a little so they are not completely identicle to the Enterprise-D. Dang. What an obvious giveaway!

I mean, you compare that to the corridors in VI, VI is by far the winner. It doesn't make you think "D".

But, do you notice anything familiar about main engineering in ST6?

Yeah, but at least they didn't show it in a way that made it so obvious. Minus the warp core.

Well considering those corridors were originally made for Star Trek-Phase II (The 1977 aborted TV series) and were resued throughtout the Trek films and TNG...not suprising they would show up alot.

The corridors made their last appearence in Star Trek Generations, and were blown up during the ship destrction scenes.

Never mind the lack of effort to redress the sets, how about the turboloift scene showing the Enterprise to have 78 decks!! Some kind of in joke or another sign of Shatner's lack of attention to the details?

When did V come out? I thought V came out before TNG was out?

It came out in 1989, two years after TNG came out.

Well, I do have to admit they made a good effort in the secondary-hull section near Engineering. I loved those glowing things right next to the pipes.

78 decks and aren't they in the wrong order?
