Question: If Klingons do appear in the film, do you prefer the TOS-TV look or TOS-Movie look?

True, true, but I suppose the episode The Savage Curtain will ultimately tell, assuming they put ridges on Khaless, even if it was based on Kirk's memory of what Khaless looked like.

It would give an explanation as to how Arne Darvin was surgically altered to look Human.

Chang in STVI had a more TOS-like look, too... but Gorkon had the new look.

Exactly. As far as we know, the only Klingons Kirk had ever seen at that point in his career were the more human-looking ones, so that's what he was given to look at.

It was hilarious. It was as if all the Klingons sent out to meet Kirk and the TOS-era Federation ships were all the results of some failed genetic experiment to create throw-away, disposable Klingons that looked like Earthers who actually worked for Ming of the Planet Mongo.

The TMP-TNG era Klingons were a vast improvement, with their own believable culture and backstory. And the women! Wowzers-where's the blood wine!
