Default Speaking Tongues...

Has anyone ever created their own language? I have, and I just want to see how many other people have out of curiosity...

I will talk about it more if I get more than a resounding silence (which seems likely at this point)...

Nope. I should be able to speak spanish, but don't. If I were to put effort into learning a language it would be spanish. I am not creative enough to make up an entirely new language.

I would like to learn some Klingon, more than just "P'tagh", and other heavily used words, but enough to actually make sentences.

Default Its only my opinion but...

I've been known to speak in riddles and chant like an American Indian when I'm cooking.

If I was a twin then I would not be renowned for talking to myself!

I think I started to create my own alphabet and language for two unconscious reasons:
Firstly, I am the only member of my family NOT able to speak Gaelic (Scottish).
And secondly, the alphabet was in defiance of everyone complaining about my illegible handwriting.

I've never created my own language, but Tolkien and Star Trek have...

Well... My language may be a fledgling of only a few dozen words but it is evolving...
