I'm from mid-coast Maine. I'm hoping someone around here would be from Maine as well because despote the asperger's, I'm always on the hunt for friends.

I am not from Maine but I have a daughter living in a small town in Maine. Hallowell is the name. Ever heard of it?

I am actually in Colorado.

Dunsmuir, California now (way northern Cali). I'm from Riverside (southern Cali) and I miss it.

Born and spent my first 18 years in Illionis... realized on my 18th birthday that Illinois was a good place to be "from"... Moved to Denver, with side trips to both CA, Seattle, and NM. Settled in North Denver, lived there for almost 20 years... in 2001, moved to Arkansas.

Arkansas is a mixed bag... there are days I absolutely love it here... other days that I just want to climb a water tower with a rifle... It hasn't helped that the local fan "community" decided the local convention wasn't worth doing anymore. There are no fannish groups, either. Lots of rednecks and NASCAR fans though.

In Northern Canada, born and raised,
Shoveling snowfall is how I spent most of my days.
Freezing my butt off in all of that cold,
This Canadian stuff is gettin' real old...!
