What do you think?

I think we won't know for another year.

I think so. I'm pretty excited by the entire cast.

I hope they get the balance between portraying well loved characters without mimicking them.

Overall I tend to agree with you.

I would crawl over hot coals for Zoe Soldana so i'm pretty forgiving with the rest of the cast.

When we see some film, we'll know better. Quinto seems like a good fit as Spock so far, and I like the casting of Pegg and Urban in their roles, but it's too early to know how they'll do their jobs.

I agree 100% on Quinto. Pegg, I think with a dye job, and the accent will do fine, as he allways does.

Urban..I don't know...

I think some great choices were made. However, we also need to be careful about grading the actors on their own merits, and what they bring to the character, rather than just dismiss something because it's differently than Shatner or Nimoy would have done it.

I'm totally prepared to accept the cast.

Although I just watched Eastern Promises last night and I wish Viggo could play Spock. Mmm.

Very well stated!!

I have had the oppertunity ot get used to Star Trek-New Voyages/Phase II, with other actors. James Crawley puts how own spin on Kirk, but you defoantely know WHO the charater is.
