He turned away because he swapped D-9 and Data's memories cores he was laughing. JK

Geordi just throws up his hands and says "That's it, transporters are offline." Ummm... Geordi? why don't you get up off your butt and go try and repair them? Scotty would be hard at work trying to fix them. Anyway that scene always bugged me because it made him look useless and lazy.
I never thought about it untill now but you're both right...
This was not the LaForge we knew.

I don't believe that he really wanted to do the film or that the "director" ("" given these because I don't think he can direct) did not understand or like the character or LeVar

Shame because I liked Geordi's character and I really thought they could have done a Kirk / Spock scene

I wrote a story on my fanfiction.net site about Geordi's reaction to Data's death.

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3156948/...uld_Have_Shown

It was a little corny, but... well, early effort.

You may want to take the line about Alexander sending a clay sculpture out of the story. By the time of Nemisis, Alexander was a young man serving in the Klingon Defense Force.

Well, like I said, early effort. Old story. Also, the war was over by then. God only knows where Alexander was then or what he was doing. Like Martok couldn't have gotten him out of there after the war if he wanted to leave?
