Default "Carrier"

So did anyone else watch this great series on PBS? Somehow, watching it, I think I had this feeling... that this is proabably what life abaord a Trek universe ship would be like... not the clean lines of TOS, nor the "grand hotel" of TNG, or even the low ceiling and exposed nuts and bolts of Enterprise...

Too cool!

Seeing that girl go to mast for bringing alchohol on board brought back memories. We had guys aboard our ship who brought far worse things than that aboard. You try and try to tell them what a damned fool they are, but they never believe you, they think they're so slick until the day that they end up in the brig for a year and then get drummed out of the service with a dishonorable discharge. I hope that young lady learned her lesson, she got off easy.
