I've had shark, and it was almost indistiguishable from pork chops... (reminded me of the dinner scene in "20,000 Leauges Under the Sea" LOL)

I'm eating buffalo as I write this (bison burger). The craziest thing I ever ate I had without knowing it- we were in a restaurant in Florence, Italy and I ate some mortadella that turned out to be made from donkey. My wife teased me that I ate Eyore. She told my parents that I had eaten jackass and my mother said "He ate jackass? He is a jackass."

My almost two year-old son is always up until 11:00-midnight. Does your daughter like The Tonight Show also?

My people eat lime jello with fruit inside. Grapes are the preferred inclusion.

A good number of my family originally settled in the Minnesota/Wisconsin area, so a lot of the foods I was exposed to as a kid were of the "Lake Woebegon" variety: orange jello with carrot shavings in it, green beans baked in cream of mushroom soup, coffee with the little oil slick on top, and lots and lots of fresh water fish.

Hmm never heard of those. Sounds interesting.

Our tribes are similar - I had forgotten about the carrot shavings! The Green Bean Mushroom casserole was only for Thanksgiving, though.
