old board game from the 80's. Dice, hexagonal grid game sheet, pencil, erasers, cardboard ship cut-outs.., what else did you need????

Thumbs up Starfleet Battles

You could probably pick up a copy on ebay or other websites.., I think there may even be an electronic version.., but that would be like playing an electronic version of monopoly or RISK for crying out loud.
IT is a cool game with most results as random as can be.., you are rolling the dice for crying out loud.., so you may have your forward deflector shield all charged up and fired your photon torpedoes, but if you roll wrong, then you will end up firing backwards into deep space!!!
