Z, I don't see any way this film will be done by August... ILM's work can't possibly be completed in four months (as signaled they'd be starting in April, roughly when production wrapped). Granted they've been in concept development before that, but the main push to get ships on film wouldn't have started that early and there will be a lot of effects work in this film.

All I've seen says TREK is following its normal production schedule as if it were to be released in late December... which means they'll be doing the final sound mix and lock the print that month. They might get an extra week or perhaps two to finish since that is still five months out from release, but it'll take the rest of the year to complete the film in either case, I think.

I honestly belive they are, or were, further along in the process, so snooping reporters/photographers couldn't get pics. I am seriosuly wondering if principal photograhy ended sooner than we have been told for this reason.

Just a thought!
