Just thought I'd see if there are any Lost fans out there. If so, what'd you all think of the season so far? Only three episodes left!

Reviving a thread here that went no where. Anyone watch the season premier? I liked it quite a bit. Since the third season closed, the show has gone into overdrive. Season 4 was mostly action and this season seems to be playing out very much the same as well. I like the change in pace.

Come on, surely there are some Lost fans on this board!

I like the first two seasons quite a bit. When it hits season 4 it takes off like wild fire. It's almost a different show. More straight forward action, less flashback expo.

(shrug) I had the growing feeling that the writers really had no "grand plan" for where the series was going... it seemed like they were just making bullstuff up as they went... so I gave up on it. I gave up shortly after they opened the hatch.

Same with Heroes. Once they finished up the "Save the Cheerleader" arc, they started to flounder. Besides, when was the last time you saw any of those schmoes actually be Heroic, and save someone's butt on that show?

I gotta say, after last night's episode, it leaves me to ponder the theories they'll be using on Star Trek XI.

The funny thing about Lost is, how often they try to be accurate to scientific theory. Read up on lostpedia or docarzt.com the giant pendulum marking the island is a real machine!!!!

You gave up to early Fan, can't blame you. I think that's the show's weakness, it puts too much faith in that the audience will stick with it. But if you do, there is definitely a grand plan. Unfortunately it takes awhile to see it start to take shape.
