I'm a DS9 fan and have only watched a few episodes of Enterprise. Can someone tell me why trek fans love season 4 and why is this Manny Coto is so important?

Have you seen any TOS? Reason being, that is why Season 4 of ENT is such a hit. It began to tie in ENT with TOS...a kind of "bridge" if you will....

Coto has been a Trek fan all of his life. He was either a writer or producer on 24 for a couple of seasons. He started on the ENT writing team in Season 3, and was made an executive (I think?) producer for Season 4. You can probably google him and get his full bio.

Even fans who didn't like ENT liked Season 4. He did a real nice job with it. It's a shame we couldn't see what else he may have done!

Thank you. I have seen almost all three episodes of the Vulcan arc and I can see why TOS fans loved it.

Loved Season 4, it was so cool seeing the "new Gorn" well worth that season alone for that 20 seconds, just wish the other three seasons could have been that great

Season 4 was what Enterprise could have been the whole time.

On the flip side, they crammed waaaay too much into it. It was jam-packed with Important Trek Moments, touching on every aspect of good Trek they could manage so you never had time to breathe. I'm talking back-to-back three parters, I'm talking constant and unending explanations of why it is things were the way they were. Enterprise was still salvagable at the beginning of the season, but they tried to do too much too quickly.

Loved Season 4. I remember watching "In a Mirror, Darkly" and getting psycked. I had the Mirror Ent As my Computer Desktop for quite some time. I played Bridge commander at that time and DL'd the Mirror ENT and took it on a few missions (Heh). The episode was a prequel to one TOS ep and a Sequel to another TOS. EPIC!

Yea, Maybe they can pull a "Family Guy" With it and bring it back. Doubt it though.

I believe it is alreay becoming a classic I think in the years since ENT it has become a cult favorite like TOS.
