Default Possible movie scenario

Old Spock learns of a Romulan (Nero’s) plot to travel back in time and assasinate Young Kirk, destroy the Enterprise and uspset the balance of power by effecting an allliance between the Klingons and the Romulans of that period against the Federation. Spock steals the now mothballed Enterprise-A from the Starfleet museum and travels back in time using his sling shot calculations in order to prevent this from happening. He enlists the help of his old friend and mentor Captain Christopher Pike to stop Nero and prevent the ultimate destruction of the Federation!

I think this possible movie scenerio is probably very close to what we will see. I think it is obvious that some sort of time travel will occur that enables TNG era Spock to play some part in the pre-TOS era movie timeframe. I doubt the 1701-a will be reused or stolen and I also doubt Capt. Pike will play that large a part in the movie. We will see. I like the feel of this scenerio though.

I just wonder how badly they are gonna blast the crap out of the ship in this film. They can't really destroy it at the end like they have a habit of doing in "Trek" movies...

Good point. I think we may see a heavily damaged Enterprise, then before the end of the movie we will see a newly repaired Enterprise leaving spacedock with the TOS crew on board. This was sort of implied by the actor playing Chekov in an interview.

This sounds good. I doubt Pike will be in the movie though. Are you talking about Pike in the past or Pike in the future. (Can he still even be alive?)

I fail to comprehend your indignation, sir. I have simply made the logical deduction that you are a liar. (Spock)

I guess he could be alive the Thosians (IIRC) can make a wheelchair bound person seem to walk again, why not make him live for a time well beyond his years

That's my question. Can the Talosians prolong life?

With Vina they just gave her the illusion of youngness. After she's dead can they give her the illusion of being alive somehow?

And even if Old Spock finds Old Pike alive. What real help can he be?
