It's an 'action shot', yet less inherently confusing than a scene of two Starfleet ships slugging it out...

I love Star Trek IV and Star Trek VI, love the use of head shots around the BOP above the bay bridge and in VI, the action that spills from the paper of the Enterprise racing toward the middle of the poster... Great stuff!!!!
