Post Which Movie Poster was your Favorite?

Which Star Trek Movie Posters were your favorite?

Well I liked almost all of them, as a matter of fact I have just bought an Original Star Trek III Theater Poster and an Original Star Trek II Theater Poster on Ebay.

I fail to comprehend your indignation, sir. I have simply made the logical deduction that you are a liar. (Spock)

I never much cared for either the "fasten your seatbelts" poster, or the Spock "ice sculpture" poster... To me, the two best were the Khan poster, and the Motion Picture poster with that goregeous spectrum with their faces staring out of it.

Although GENERATIONS sucked in my opinion, the teaser poster, as well as the teaser trailer, depicted an incredibly epic masterpiece film, and I wish we could have gotten a film that followed through with that promise.

The first poster for GENERATIONS still to this day strikes me as an awe-inspiring work, and IMO captures best the heart and soul of Star Trek.

Of course, if we can broaden the topic a bit, if you want to include posters for the video releases, I have two framed in my house that I think are near perfect representations of Star Trek in it's early years: the posters for both the video tapes of the series, and of "The Cage" when it was finally released to video. (Remember that one? where the image kept going back and forth between black and white, and color?) The posters are painted montages, with a silver boarder. I've tried looking for an image online, but they don't seem to have any...

I converted my VHS copy to DVD not too long ago, just for kicks and the GR intro.

The "fasten your seatbelts" poster sucked because at the time of the poster no story was written and they had no art for the film.
