Default online dating

does it work? Would you do it? Have you done it.
In 2003 I first visited a chat room. Must of been about my second time on it. Met this guy and we started chatting about star Trek of all things cause my user name was trekie. At first he thought I was a guy and when he found out I was a girl he IM me in Privet. We chatted on line and on the phone for about 3 months untill we met at disneyland, our first date. I was told at the time becareful, only weirdos date online. It was not an online service, it was by chance we met. I got to say, I was scared, to meet himt, but At least if he was a wierdo I could get lost at the park, lol. Well I never thought I would go out with anyone online , but I did and it lead to a wonderful relationship, that now I am married and have a child from him.

It's just not always guaranteed to.

Yes. Yes. and Yes.

But, you have to be careful. There are tons of time wasters on the "personals" sites. Also lots of people who are NOT being honest about who they are, and what their situation is. (i.e. cheaters) So, keep your gaurd up!

I met my hubby on Match.com, and we're happy as clams. Of the 4 guys I dated from Match.com, only one was a dud.

But yes, many many many cheaters are out there.

Nothing guaranteed. You cool meat some at school/ supermarket and they can turn out to be cheeters or even crazy. I found that at least online you can be yourself with out the whole thing of looks and trying to impress some one on all those dates, by the time you meet your friends and know each other some what

It sounds like Trekie and I are in a similar situation. We weren't even looking for a relationship at the time we met our sig others.

I wasn't eiether. I was hanging out in a bar were a freind of mine worked. When it was slow, we'd chat, or play games. My now wife was on another date, that was goign ot end very soon, by her estimation. She says she kept loking at me, I knwo I was looking at her, she was (and still is) extremely HOT!!!

The guy she was with noticed, and told her if I was that intersting, the nshe should go talk to me, so she did, never saw that guy again....lol...
