Most everything by Patrick Califia,
Suzie Bright
Carol Queen

Most of Bradbury, Ellison, Matheson, early Heinlien, Clarke.

Lately I've been on a "golden age" kick with Henry Kuttner, and Murray Leinster.

My all time favorite book series? Probably the "Sleeping Beauty" books by Anne Rice. They are a great distraction for someone like me, who is a nervous air traveller.

Arthur C. Clarke stuff(may he rest in peace), Isaac Asimov stuff(ditto), Douglas Adams stuff(do you see a trend emerging here?) and Terry Pratchett stuff(he is not dead, in case you were wondering).

jerhanner, you might want to find a copy of "German Zeppelins of WW1" Great book, filled to the brim with colorful characters, great machines, and about a time when there was still a "romance" about aireal warfare. (a favorite)

Starkiller, just keep in mind that for THESE versions of Sleeping Beauty, you must be 18+ to purchase. LOL
