Exclamation The Wrath of Khan!

I watched it for the first time yesterday. I watched it again today. undoubtedly one of the best movies I've ever seen. A big improvement compared to The Motion Picture.

It is the first movie I've ever watched and then thought afterwards I want to watch it again right away!

It's a great movie. James Horner's music is awesome. The Death of Spock scene was moving. I can see why this movie was such a hit.

I give it a 5/5 star rating.

I fail to comprehend your indignation, sir. I have simply made the logical deduction that you are a liar. (Spock)

I saw it opening day in 1982, that was cool!

I'll give you a tip to get a little extra from this movie.
Watch it with you mother. Then as the scene comes where you see a closeup of the slug crawling out of checkovs ear wet your index finger and slip it in her ear.
She'll never forgive you but it will be so worth it.

You could try it too with your wife but that will probaly be followed by no sex from anywhere between one week to a month. Kinda takes the edge off of the joke.

As a mother, I should probably protest that.....but it does sound fun....

How fun to see it for the first time....I'm with Zardoz, I saw it opening night...I remember the thrill of the theme song...just that was such a hopeful sound after The Motion Picture. I still don't think I've ever cried as much as I did when Spock died/was shot into space....and, I remember us all just being stunned at the thought.....they killed Spock! It was inconceivable....

We should all watch it again and have a "fresh" discussion on it....I'll need to wait until I've bought more kleenex before I can tackle it....

I'll have to try that...when I can muster up the courage.

I just remembered I was on a date that night...she sobbed all though Spock's death scene, even thought she was not a Trek fan.

I saw it 3x on a big screen, great experiences all 3 x.

I too saw it on the big screen at the ripe old age of 8...needless to say I have watched it countless times since and it still ranks as one of the best movies I have ever seen.

I was doing a road trip from melbourne to Brisbane (aprox 2000 km) in a car i had picked up for $300. we were half way in Sydney city and found this old theatre with all the old carved statues etc in a side street and it was showing. Amazing experience.

When i got home a week later i took my mum.
