Good story. DS9 kicked a**
Then I guess this is solved!!! LOL!!

Not sure.

But Odo was made into a "solid" in the last episode of season four, and spent a little over half of S.5 being a solid.

He turned changeling again in "The Begotten" -- I think that's the one where Kira gives birth.

...Although incidentally there's a very good chance that Bashir was also a changeling by that episode. hehe.

But it's true by about season five there really was so much of the story that depended on seeing earlier episodes. It wasn't impossible to follow if you hadn't seen it all but let's just say there was a lot that would definitely have been confusing to say the least.

This is what I really liked about DS9. I always was impatient to see the next episode. I wanted the story to continue. I hate to say this, but in a way it was "soap opera-ish" , and I liked it.

I'd say that was more "real life" than a simple, episodical story.

Things happen to you in life, the consequences don't just go away by the time the next thing happens.

Since you're a relative newbie robsie, we'll let this one slide. Just make sure you do your homework on this stuff in the future.
