Default Shia LaBeouf: Is he the next Marlon Brando?

Are they trying to make Shia LaBeouf into Marlon Brando in the Indiana Jones flick? Something is up. The outfit is the same from the movie "The Wild Ones".

He may have been "inspired" by the Wild Ones.

I think it has more to do with time Indy is set in.

Plus, more than likely they are trying to make Shia look like an action star and look older than he really is. I believe he is only 21 years old...

No one named Shia LaBoeuf would be allowed to be, let alone play, a longshoreman. ;p

see, I have a soft spot for Shia. I'm hoping he manages to build himself a nice career and he's certainly surrounded himself with good people.

In the new trailer, that shot of him on the bike with the hat, directly out of The Wild Ones. It's the right time period, maybe he's a big fan of Brando films!

I agree. Lucas and Speilberg is making him out to be the rebel like Brando was in that Movie.

Eh, but right now Shia is a bit skinny to be a Brando Rebel type or an action star.

Too much of a geek right now, although he fit in to Transformers just fine.
