Yeah, that's true. That would have made more sense. I mean, they did look older than just a few years since last seeing them in both TOS and TAS.

Yes, and used every trick in the book to try and make them "look younger."

TWOK, was a great way that TMP should have gone, celebrating the fact these people were older.
