Default Why no interviews with Chris Pine compared to Quinto and the others?

It seems all the other cast members have been easily interviewed numerous times and rarely has Pine given one. Quinto is already hitting the conventions. What is the deal? Is it because the films release date has been pushed back or simply Pine has no projects at this time like Yelchin, Pegg, Quinto and Cho has?

I think it's because he doesn't have another movie coming out so isn't on the promotional trail. I'm not sure about Quinto, because he seems to have jumped quickly on the convention/fandom train, but Yelchin, Pegg and Cho are really promoting other movies when they get asked Trek questions.

Well most of them have film currently in theatres, or soon to DVD. so heck yes, they are promoting those!

Quinto was allready exposed to heavy sci-fi/fantasy fandom with his Heroes role, and he has no other films out there right now.

Because all the reporters who interviewed Pine were women and Pine was always too into his Kirk persona.

Also, Quinto has been booked as appearing WITH Nimoy a good deal, and likely might again over the next year. The Two Spocks have a 'draw' which the other crew members really can't match in that regard.

I don't know why the topic of this thread didn't come up long ago. Now that you mention it, it's downright weird that Pine isn't talking. You think he might have taken one of JJ's "Don't say anything about this film!" speeches a little too much to heart?

Pine is hiding his eyebrows. No, no... his evil mirror goatee!

Maybe he's trying hard to stay away form events that might make him accidently "spill the beans" on the film?
