I loved Firefly. I think they pulled off the "old west in space" idea pretty well. I just wish the movie did better in theaters.

Smart, witty humor, good characters and cool story setting.
Serenity wasn't as good as the series...

It had a lot of potential.

They could have blended "Steampunk" elements into it. Old West motifs and designs with more advanced technology.

Reminds me of "Back To The Future III"

Brilliant series. Badly treated by the network.

I enjoyed Firefly when it was on. I wouldn't call it the best (That falls to Farscape IMO) but I really enjoyed the movie.

Great show. Too bad Serenity didn't do so hot at the box office. I wanna freaking sequel!

Well, if they make a sequel, they'll have to do it without Book and Wash.

Unless it's some kind of prequel.

I'll go out on a limb and say Firefly could have been this era's Star Trek if it had been given more of a chance. The show is a masterpiece, with pretty much the best writing and actor chemistry seen in... well... forty years of television. But while Trek (TOS) managed to scrape three seasons out of the unappreciative network execs, Firefly only managed to air twelve episodes.

Damn Fox. Damn it to hell.
