I've never understood why Howard got such a bad rap. I can think of dozens of comedies that deserved tanking far more than Howard did. Sure, it wasn't slavish to the comic book, but I still think It was a fun bit of silliness.

Watching all the appendices to all 3 LoTR movies in one shot while relaxing in the big blue chair.

Watching the extended editions with the cast commentary going on. OMG, hilarious.

Oh yeah, another guilty pleasure kind of movie...

Star Trek

Now that definately makes me feel better.

Ah! Gary, you are a man after my own heart! "Feind Without a Face" Is one of my all time favorite '50's sci fi horror films! The stop motion sequence in the last 10 minutes makes sitting through the rest of the film totally worthwhile! I've yet to meet anyone who's sat through that film that didn't have the same reaction: stunned disbelief giving 'way to sick humor delight! You can never eat raspberry jelly again in the same way, after seeing those little guys burst!

Triffids is a great deal of fun too. Although one of these days I'd like to find a copy of the BBC remake they did in the early 90's. I hear it's even better... more suspenseful.

Hey, that's not guilty pleasures, that's interesting stuff!

For me a guilty pleasure movie is Star Trek Nemesis. It is really bad and you can just turn your brain off for two hours and let it role. I do watch it from time to time and usually when I don't want to think. Also The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, I like to put those big SPFX movies in and just sit back and watch it, they don't engage the brain too much. Well, Attack of the Clones in parts maybe.

Default "Run for your lives...it's the GREEN SLIME!!!

Bravo, FW45

Here's the epic trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g79_ljVC5Wk

Now that takes me back to a certain drive-in theater in Columbus a long time ago.

Oh, yeah... drive ins! Man, I miss those so much... Going out to a drive in movie with your gf, watching a double feature, and missing the second half of the double bill because you were... otherwise occupied...

Last time I went to a Drive in was a July "Monster Fest" at the 88 Drive In, Denver. They had a night of old 1950's flicks, including "Earth vs Flying Saucers," "It Conquered the World" "Invasion of the Saucermen" and "Horror of Party Beach." (One of the few times I actually went with the intention of actually watching the movies!) Now of course, they're all pretty much gone... sad, really.

I watched this one awful 50's or 60's SciFi horror flick called 'Frogs'. I got through thirty minutes and felt an urgent need to drown myself. I did enjoy 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' though. My daddy had me watch it with him.

Drive ins? Why didn't you finish the second half? Did you go out to dinner?
