Do you think that a movie should be based off of the Book "The Return" by William Shatner?

In my opinion is yes. It is an excellent book, that shows how Kirk is Reborn on Viridian III by Spock. I don't want to spoil the rest for anyone who hasen't read it.

Well since it doesn't happen that way, you didn't spoil anything.

Partially correct. They had help. Well, so much for not spoiling it.

Perhaps it could be done as a mini series. That would pull some $$$

I've have often thought that a mini series of frank millers the dark night would only be good for the movie franchise also.

Mini series to fill the void between movies. Let's face it there is not much in the world that has the market force of drugs and is still legal but star trek based upon the original crew is it so milk the baby for all it's worth.

The fans won't complain. Well maybe a few anti Shatner nutballs but who cares about them other than them and perhaps their mothers?

Sorry, worded that wrong, I meant to say that Spock comes to Viridian III, sorry about the misunderstanding. Anyway should a movie be made?

It would have to be reworked to incorporate some of what we now know about the Borg that makes the book feel less than authentic.

In any case, the Borg have already had a movie. I'd rather they do one with Shatner's Mirror Universe book. However, they should do a movie or miniseries to find out what happened to the Defiant first.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I hated Shatner as a scriptwriter, but his books are some of the best I've come across.

A Borg movie now would probably kill Star Trek completely.
