Default Is old Spock a pro at time travel?

He calculated time computations in TVH twice and did it several times in TOS. What do you think and do you think he will use that experience in the movie?

Well...I think it's obvious he's experienced at it....

However, all his time travel has been with a ship.

I'm not sure we know that he can just jump through time....

Who knows how he'd get back... there are certainly more efficient and safer ways of doing it than flying your ship in a slighshot maneuver around a star, or other gravity well.

Who knows, maybe Daniels helps hims... though despite being a fan of Enterprise, I hope that isn't the case. Daniels was irritating, despite his Iconian Gateway-esque 31st-century technology. Being around 150 and a well-respected Federation hero and ambassador, no doubt Spock would refuse to have anything to do with him.

Ok, we still don't know that time travel is a definite in this movie. He may only talk to himself in a dream...

Well, how the movie predictions are shaping up what with there being kid Spock, Young Man Spock, and Old Man Spock, chances are quite high. The skill would be quite advantageous.

Or, Spock could just find the Guardian again and run through the portal.

I wonder if Nimoy is reading this. 'Old Man Spock'.

I'd assume he has better things to do than read a message board... of course, so do I, and I still do; lol.

He can if he's jumping through the Guardian of Forever.
