Default Tuvok

Spock is obviously everyone's favorite vulcan. And from what I can tell, not to many people liked T'Pol's caracter at all (even though I did). So what is everyones thoughts on Tuvok. Was he a well portrayed vulcan caracter or another disappointment?

Tuvok, after a shakey start, became a great charater.

Tuvok is my third favorite Vulcan--behind Spock and Doctor Selar--and I thought Tim Russ did a great job with the role. But after the arrival of Seven of Nine, he was pretty much redundant, IMO. I thought he was the coolest member of the crew and would have preferred it if he and Chakotay had switched places...

Did anyone else know Tim Russ was up for the Role of LaForge on TNG when they were casting?

Tuvok had his moments. I've never totally got the concept of dark skinned Vulcans (isn't the whole planet horrifyingly hot and aren't differences in skin tone a result of varied exposure to the sun?) but in general I liked him.

Then why aren't all Vulcans dark skinned?

Spock beats Tuvok barely on my list. The only reason I like Spock better is because he set apart Star Trek from any other TV show and made the series unique. Tuvok seemed like a clone of Spock to me.

I applaud Tim Russ for reaching out to the Fan Community and creating Star Trek: Of Gods and Men. If a bunch of trek actors can get together and make a fan film..that's just great.

I agree 100% My only real complaint so far was the episodes were not released in a more timely manner.

He's a pretty decent singer too.
