I know, we've had a thread asking if it's the best Star Trek movie and it's come up in other areas, but have we just talked about this movie? I'm watching it now and it's just so great! Humor, pathos, special effects, aliens who aren't just like us but with weird ears...it's everything I want a science fictio movie to be....

I still am shocked the sequel was never made, it made enough money to justify it. Easily Tim Allen's funniest moive.

Totally great movie. Fun from start to finish. Gotta love the crushy poundy things and the wall of fire. "This episode was badly written!", says Gwen. Still my favorite line of the movie. The scenes at the convention kept me howling and pointing. Happy memories of conventions past rise whenever I watch that movie.

The Star Trek Universe should use Galaxy Quest as its equivalent of Star Trek in our Universe.
