I have been lucky when it comes to getting something I really want, having high speed internet helps

I won Husbands work books against someone that kept out bidding me, I got tierd and waited till less that a minute left and out bidded him or her.
Having high speed brodband ( cable) is the way to go

But if you bounce and have 2-3 browsers open on the item you can keep outbidding the swoopers.

yes but that means your price keep going up, and the purpose is to get it cheeper, is it not

The purpose is to get it. Period. Then again, this is from someone who, regarding memorabelia, is rather free with the dollar or as my wife puts it, "financially irresponsible."

I'm currently bidding on an Original Theater TMP Movie Poster for $1.00, unfortunatly there is a reserve on it, and the buy now price is $260..... I doubt he will sell it to me though. I'm trying to piece together a collection of Movie Posters (Original Theater Ones) from TMP to VI.

Seven seconds dammit!! Seven seconds and that TOS tricorder would have been mine for just $22, but some bastard got it at the last second. I couldn't click fast enough!!!

WTF, this place sucks.

What!! What the heck, that's terrible. I would be SO ticked off at whoever sniped me with something THAT cool. I'm sorry. People suck.

Well, I feel good and stupid tonight because there was a cast only Treasure Planet pin listed for only a few dollars and I freaking FORGOT to bid. Wasn't outbid, wasn't sniped-- I just forgot. *headdesk*
