Thumbs down Forum Trek

I've been a member of the Star Trek.com forum for quite some time, and joined this one just recently. I don't know what it its about it, but I like it a lot better than the Star Trek.com forum. Maybe it's the layout or the color scheme...I just don't know... What do you think? Have a favourite Trek forum that stands head and shoulders above the rest?

I've never really checked out trek.com but I've heard mixed things from people. I like this board, lots of interesting conversation going on.

I know what you mean! I had recently stopped hanging out at a different forum and kind of missed the on-line buddy scene. Then I stumbled onto this place and was sooooo happy!

This is the first board I have ever joined, so I have no frame of reference for a comparison. So far I enjoy the off topic conversations more. I like hearing opposing arguments, as long as they make sense!

Yeah, it's the first one I've ever joined too, read plenty of forums but never was interested enough to join, but I do like this one.

So we agree that we are happy here?

Yes. I'm pretty happy here. I just hope this site doesn't end up fading after the movie comes out and runs it's course in theatres.

That's the big question. I hope the life expectancy of this board continues well past the summer of 2009.
