I'd defiantly like colour in the uniforms as much as possible, I grow to dislike the black & grey uniforms from First Contact onwards because of the lack of colour.

There is a post on Trekmovie.com that talks about Star Trek New Voyages' James Cawley visiting the set and he said that the uniforms were perfect.

"The uniforms are perfect, spot on perfect. I wouldn’t have done anything any different. When I saw the look of what he was going for, he’s got it."

I actually rather like the late 24th century uniforms - they seemed more military-like and, well, realistic.

I'm sure that is great to get the plug in ... but how does that describe the uniforms?

You got me there, but if he likes them then I got a good feeling that they will look good. I know that doesn't help to the extent of what they look like, but it still makes me feel good about them.
