I think it said "to release mask press here" on the side of the helmet, if you zoom in close enough you'll see

As for LOTR-Gandalf isseu> If Gandalf would take the ring the results would have been devastating, he said so in the beginning of the movie

IN King-Kong the fence had electric wiering, and they took the gorrilla because they saw what heppened in Jurassic PARK 3 when you take home a T-Rex
And those TRex's never respect you in the morning when you take them home...LOL!!

Maybe he thought he pushes the "open wallet" button instead?

Luke: "Damn, how did you get it on in the first place?"

Vader: "Death Star Medical. They have this lubricant that smells like sweeties."

Luke: "Lets see... If I take your head between my legs and a Stormtrooper pulls on your back at the same time...?"

(cut)

Luke (to Stormtrooper): "Now, Pull!!!"

Vader: "Ouch, arrgh, what a degrading way to spend the last minutes of your life."

On a similar note: concerning Lord of the Rings....

If Gandalf could summon and ride eagles, and Sauron had no air power to speak of at the beginning of the trilogy, why didn't he just hop a bird out to Mt. Doom with the ring in his pocket, toss that thing into the volcano, and be back to the Shire in time for afternoon tea?

This question was actually addressed in one of the LOTR DVDs. The reason is because of the Nazgul. Any Eagle that attempted to fly in would have been attacked and killed. I am sure there are ways around this, but that's they reason that was given.

Thats the kind of behaviour by producers that I really hate and that is so typical for Sci-Fi and Fantasy as a genre. You have a plothole? No, no, no, its all explained on the bonus material and in the expanded universe. Just read the comics or books or watch the DVD.

Have you ever heard of a plothole in a thriller where the producers had the guts to explain their mistakes away like this?

According to JRRT 'canon', the Eagles wouldn't carry a ring-bearer. (Which is why they wouldn't pick him up until after...)

In any case...
