Yeah, I rememebr them, Zardoz. I think the John Saxon/Diana Muhuldar pass at the concept "Planet Earth" was the best. (That, and I'm just kinky enough to find the female dominated society in that pilot to be pretty darn entertaining.) LOL It was just great to see Ted Cassidy doing something on TV again. It would have been great to have the show as a regular series. (I always looked at it as an updating of the original "Buck Rogers" concept. If you're read the original novel that Buck waws based on, you immediately see the parallells.)

Yes, it's all part of the "Gene Roddenberry Never Created A Single Original Concept" argument that's been floating for decades...lol. Belive it or not, never read the original Buck books!!! I'd love to have these, even if have ot convert them from VHS to DVD format!! ![]()

I remember the Dylan Hunts from Genesisll (double-navelled Mariette Hartley version my fave) and Planet Earth. But I don't recollect Brave New World at all. Now I'm curious.

I have heard "Brave New World" has circulated around on pirate VHS for years.

Brave New World was the third attempt, and frankly, it was the worst of them. They changed the entire concept. PAX no longer exists, and the sub-shuttle was gone too, and the main characters are actually astornauts returning to a future Earth (a la Planet of the Apes) and are searching for a "Doomsday Vault" filled with everything they need to restart civilization. In the mean time, they get captured/beat up by weird little "island societies" of people cloning themselves for immortality, and or primative mutants.
Be happy it didn't sell.
