But then they've never had a case like Seven before. In all previous assimilations the implants were either remove totally (like Picard) or the person couldn't be saved or was killed. She's no drone by the time she gets back, It's not her fault she had the implants for so long they couldn't come out again. I don't think they could get away with doing that if someone mounted a legal defense for her. It would become public, then the public would see her and realise she wasn't a threat - Starfleet would lose the PR battle. But I accept they would ask her to submit to voluntary tests etc to see how her implants worked alongside her biological human systems.

You may be right. But i highly doubt nay testing would be voluntary.

All I mean is that if she didn't submit voluntarily, they would, in my opinion, be unable to force her to submit because she was more human than Borg and whatever human rights exist within the Federation Charter would give her protection. Besides if they did, Janeway would just go back in time and stop that as well, it was after all, her favourite method of fixing her problems!

As much as I love Janeway, she should have been charged for her attempted murder of Noah Lessing in Equinox part II. She would have killed him if Chakotay had not stopped her.

Yeah, they would have been all, "So, where did you get all those torpedoes? Shuttles? Crew members?"

Seriously, I actually started counting and... there's no way.

Chakotay should have been charged for wanton destruction of federation property. He wrecked like 15 shuttles.

My question is where did a short range ship get 15 freakin' shuttles, that's more than the ENT-D!!!

In any well run branch of the armed forces she certainly would have faced board of inquiry. I think that by far she showed the very worst judgement of all the Star Trek series captains. I am sorry that no one in the crew did not successfully lead an "insurrection" against her leadership. Her first officer might have made a great captain and thereby saved the series from becoming known to many of us as : ANNOYAGER

And why did they never take the Captain's yacht out? Never. You can see it there clearly in the saucer part of the ships under belly.

I guess it is good they never took it out because Chakotay, Paris or Janeway would have crashed it and then they would have had a big hole in the belly of the ship.

And medusapartner you are talking to a Voyager and Janeway fan... flaws and all. Just an FYI.
