I'm so old, I knew Space Ghost before he was dead.

It is made even more sad since the guy who is going to be filling in for the beloved role of McCoy really belongs on a horse in Rohan. I lament this choice. Come back Mr. Kelley!

I believe Kelley rode a few horses in his career with all that western work. That may make Karl even more qualified to play Bones.

More than a few. Kelley made a long career pre Trek playing bad guys in Westerns.

The fact that DeForest Kelley is dead is the one thing I regret most about not getting into star Trek sooner. By all accounts he was a wonderful person, and I can only imagine what it would have been like to see him on-stage or even meet him. I'll never know what it was like.

The loss to Star Trek IS huge. (And Mr. Urban has some awfully big shoes to fill...)
