I would be concerned that this, being an official Paramount board, might be dropped as not being 'profitable' once the new movie has finished its run in the cinemas.

Iam sure there is plans for a second movie and why would they change or shut it down, the forums can run itself and put in volunteer moderators and admins and i think everything will be cool.

I certainly hope you are right, Acidrain; I would worry that some bean counter at Paramount might decide they don't want to foot the expensive bill for what promises to be a most excellent forum, once the excitement is over.

Read threads backwards? I mod 3 other boards, and no WAY would I do that. You need to follow the conversation in order to properly understand the cause of any conflict between posters. That way, corrective measures can be as fair as possible to all involved.

Yeah, it did. After they finished with promoting the movie it was shut down & all the threads were merged into the st.com movie forum.

Ahh, then it's probably a safe bet the same thing will happen here... Unless they create another movie and keep the same fourms and just add into them...

I'd like to think this forum will last. I think prefer this forum to st.com. But I won't be getting my hopes up.
