That would be very interesting...I'd be happy with that, it would explain a lot and I am hoping for some reference to ENT in the new film. However, would they be able to explain this back story in the new movie?

I figured he was an overman like Khan, given that both are named for ancient tyrants.

It would be because the Romulan culture is bassed on the Roman one.

EG: Senate, Senators, Imperal Task Forces, Legionaries, Centurion, and Emporer.

So basically, we don't know anymore about him now than we did then... He's fugly and he's slimy, that's all I can say. How can he be Romulan? He looks more Reman to me...
