Default Defiant filming model

The filming model is listed in Christie's catalog as measuring 37 x 27 inches and having sold for $102,000.

Four decks.

When I was making the MSD for the Chaffee, Doug Drexler told me it was 8 meters long, the Defiant was 120 meters long with four decks, and that the folks such as Saquist and Brendt (of Ex Astris Scientia) who had concluded otherwise would agree with him if they based their analysis on the newer version of the CGI. He also posted that on drexfiles and invited any arguments to the contrary. Brendt changed some other things I told him about but hasn't updated his figure of 6.5 meters for the Chaffee.

And Saquist was very helpful when I was making the deck plans. He pointed out early on that the outline in Star Trek: The Magazine was wrong, enabling me to get started on a good foundation.

Here are some schematics:

Defiant MSD, deck plans, and MSDs of main embarked craft
