Great pic. I've been lucky enough to visit the Air and Space Museum once but when I was there the Enterprise was in the process of being restored. I'll have to get down there again some day.

Honestly, the Apollo stuff and the shuttle were even more exciting

I first met her back in the 70s when she was put on display in her original location hanging outside the "Life In The Universe" exhibit...saw her twice there, then again later when she was hung at the entrance to the "Manned Space Travel" exhibit.

She's in much better shape now than she was then. In fact, I wish someone would use her again as a filming model and prove physical models trump CGI when it comes to Starfleet ships...
