I reckon that since the reboot has been established now there's no point to for Paramount to invest in a new forum anymore. I mean the hype isn't going to be nearly as high as before.

That said it'd be nice if this one got a bit more attention from the admins again and allowed new members to properly sign up.

The forum is basically closed for new folks, they can sign up but not post.

When you look at the people that are signing up, most of the names you see look like spambots, so it's good that new people can't post.

If they start a new board for the sequel, you'll get interest from actual fans again. But this one just attracts the spam bots now by and large.

How would you find this stuff out? I mean I have no problem getting in because I wouldn't have need to create a new account. Where are all these secret back doors/corridors/whatever that you go to see who is logged in or who is signing up?

It's pretty straightforward -

The forum homepage down at the bottom has a 'newest member' display. That sometimes changes but as Tom suggests most may be spambot type things.

To see who's been in just go to the link up top for 'Members List' and that gives you a list of all forum members whose accounts were fully activated. Gives you their name, join date, number of posts, avatars and also the date they were last logged in (there's some interesting reading there as well sometimes especially considering there aren't a whole lot of posters anymore) and info like that.

None of it is hidden. It's all information held by the site openly.
