Opening in Spring 2013, LAX aka Los Angeles International Airport will complete the interior of the South Concourse. Nine state-of-the-art boarding gates will be featured at the South Concourse.

Hey wait, speaking of that picture, is that an emergency door shutting down? If so, was there ever a separation in the warp core? Or did something come above the ground as well and then lock shut in between it?

I sometimes wish I could go back and train in architecture or construction engineering. I find the process of designing and creating these huge structures a never ending attraction.

Seems to me Mike Okuda's text commentary (DVD special edition 2002) points out the goof. (Or maybe I'm thinking of VI, in which the corridors have piping hanging from the ceiling and the doors would cut off the circulation. Whichever it was, I know he likes to catch stuff like that).

I always thought the door came down through the core intentionally to cut off the matter/antimatter flow to the nacelles.
