I found Sub Rosa quite embarassing to watch with my parents with Crusher having a good time with the ghost in her quarters. When her gran appears out the grave and zaps Geodie and Data I think that's quite good, along with when Crusher at the end has to make the decision to kill her lover.

The use of the holodeck to create the image of the alien in Identity Crisis was something I really like about that ep, is on a similar theme to when they use the holodeck to recreate the alien labratory in Schisms, I found that really creepy, especially the clicks, never realised how scary they could be.

It kinda gives you an idea of what CSI and Star trek would be if they were combined

I think the reason some of the more character-based episodes (like "Family" or "The Inner Light") don't sit well with a lot of the fans is that the fans tend to think of them as too "soap opera-ish"... not enough space battles and/or characters seducing scantily clad space babes for their tastes, I guess.

These rocketships and strange worlds are not enough,
nor these carboard spacemen sketched in rough,
Even cosmic T&A can be just a lot of guff,
It's the character that is the essential stuff!

This could've become a truly menacing turn of events for the Federation but... Oh well, our loss. =/

"Remember Me". Dunno if this one is underrated but I certainly enjoyed watching it. The ending with Wesley Crusher phasing himself in and out of existence was a little hokey, but the rest of the episode with Dr Crusher trapped is a decaying reality of her own design was pretty captivating and innovative. From a dramatic and psychological standpoint this episode really drew you in. Gates McFadden once complained about the lack of screen time her character got, and this episode was a great chance for her to entertain the fans. Nice to see a Starfleet officer have to think her way out of a dilemma without a bunch of techno-babble gobbledeygook to get in the way of her dialogue.
Yep, they are episodes I like a lot as well, for pretty much the same reasons!

And ironically given this was a really stunt heavy episode for her, with harness work etc, McFadden actually found out she was pregnant around the same time!

Final Mission. I think that's the one you're thinking of.

"Family" was a good episode. That was definitely underrated. I always thought "Suddenly Human" was underrated.
