Where wars go on and no one notices
Where people are becoming linked through media
Where religion is being burned as often as possible and those that practice or honor it are being hunted or converted.

The man had foresight.

As a kid I read some dry and icy Asimov robot stories and Bradbury's Illustrated Man. The latter was so vivid that I will never forget it.

Certainly a true talent and a master of his craft.

In my eyes and limited familiarity with science fiction Bradbury has not been a master of great concepts but a master of imagination (somebody like Asimov is basically just the other way around). When you read stuff like Dandelion Wine you realize that he has kept his childhood and thus his imagination alive. I also think this partly explains his universal popularity.
