That's a pretty good innings Mr Bradbury. Sad it had to end.

Fahrenheit 451...
I thought that name sounded familar.
Instead of living a dream of racial harmony like Matin L. King
We're living in a world he predicted.
TV's the size of walls.
Where wars go on and no one notices
Where people are becoming linked through media
Where religion is being burned as often as possible and those that practice or honor it are being hunted or converted.

The man had foresight.

Certainly a true talent and a master of his craft.

In my eyes and limited familiarity with science fiction Bradbury has not been a master of great concepts but a master of imagination (somebody like Asimov is basically just the other way around). When you read stuff like Dandelion Wine you realize that he has kept his childhood and thus his imagination alive. I also think this partly explains his universal popularity.

Perhaps I will read something of his in his honor. Maybe the Illustrated Man, that was good

91 isn't a bad run. I think one can hardly complain too much if you make it as far.
