Hats, that was one of the little touches that i liked in the show "Enterprise". I liked that they had crew hats, similar to the hats navy personnel have today. You see retired navy guys wearing hats of various ships they served on all the time.

Well, it makes sense to have something to cover your head on an away missiosn and yeah, it was nice to tie the show into the navy tradition.

I agree. These uniforms don't work unless its in a Mirror Universe or another Earth lookalike.

Are you guys talking about the baseball caps, I don't remember any hats in "Enterprise." If they keep the ibridge, I don't think those uniforms compliment it very well.

They look similar to the stuff Spock and Pike wore so they are probably dress uniforms and will most likely only appear for a few minutes on screen. I doubt that they discard the three-colour standard uniforms if just for compositional reasons. Hard to imagine this shot with everybody wearing Mao grey.
