Would've been interesting to see how it would've done as a PG-13 movie, but, since its true sires were all rated R, I say don't break the chain. ![]()

R will probably suit it best, but I just hope it's as good as I want it to be.

I'm getting quite excited now. I'm getting to see it tomorrow night (Sunday) for the first time.
Been starting to hear mixed things about it, but I am hopeful it all works out because I've been hearing from one reviewer that I read a lot of who has seen it but not yet released a full review that it's a surprisingly idea's led film that asks questions of the audience but won't send you home with neatly packaged answers to them. Which is tantalising me no end, as is comparisons that in that sense it's more like Scott's Blade Runner than Scott's Alien itself. I won't know til I see it, but am getting pretty excited now.

I'm very much looking forward to this movie. I'll probably wait until it's out for a few weeks, less idiots at the theater. I'll go around the end of June.

Doesn't the R rating help with that a bit, cutting out some of the unaccompanied minors?

That's unfortunate. Your missing many enjoyable films.

Yes, and no.
Movie Theatres are real strict with the ID thing so minors that are teens are often let in during peak periods like 7:00 and onward and adults have the unscrupulous tendency to take infants into movies (which should be against R policy as well) In part it does keep some parents from taking their kids there but the average stupidity of a movie goer assure there will be at least one in every showing that brings an obnoxious child of somesort during peak times.

Yes, it does help. I still usually like to wait a few weeks for the crowds to die down. Idiots come in all shapes and sizes! Star Trek was one of the few movies that I went to in the first week. I almost always wait three weeks or so.
