Most fun I had since watching the Star Trek movie on the big screen.
Great story, great dialogue and banter, great action, great visuals and sound! Bring on Avengers 2! (And all the solo sequels....and please, please, please....a solo Scarlett Johannsen Black Widow movie!) ![]() Fastest movie to reach $200M domestically...and had best all-time opening weekend.

It's fantastic fun. I've seen it twice this weekend already. I had my doubts about it going in but Whedon overall did a great job pulling all the characters together and then giving them all moments before the action packed finale.

Maybe Whedon will have enough clout with the studios to get Firefly back on TV or the big screen.

To be honest, I hope that never happens. I love Firefly/Serenity but part of that is because it's so little of it that exists. I think going back after ten years might ruin it. I think it should be left as it is.

I'm going tomorrow to see it, can't wait! I think I'm just going to go the 2-D route. I could go to Imax, but that's more of a drive.

Haven't seen it yet. Still working seven days a week after four months. So you say it really is all that.

Indeed...it is all that, and a bag of chips.
![]() Samwise, if I had to work seven days a week..especially for as long as you've been at it...it better be a job I love. Yeah, I just went and caught a regular screen showing, and it was well worth it. Didn't worry about IMAX or 3D. I think if Whedon does take another crack at the Firefly/Serenity 'verse, then he needs to take a cue from Ridley Scott with Prometheus. Same 'verse, maybe a different time, and definitely different characters...but still inescapably connected to the 'verse. ![]()

I don't believe Serenity was ever intended to continue; Universal's botched fan campaign aside. Joss even killed off his own look-alike character on the show. I think he was done with it.
