Oh look at that. Did anybody know there's a musical version to the original? (Be afraid)

I did not.

But the full trailer for this version of Total Recall left me sorta 'meh'.

It doesn't look 'bad'... there's nothing really to dislike so far. I don't care much for the 'virtual reality' vibe I'm getting from some of the shots (particularly at the end when his face shifts). That's just a type of sci-fi that I never could get into. Feels a little to '90s to me. But everything else I'm seeing I 'kinda' like. We'll see.

I'm just not that big a fan of the Schwarzenegger version. I don't dislike it, but...

No, it doesn't look bad but nothing that left me with that 'gotta see this' feeling either. Probably will though. It just kinda looks like bits and pieces of other films.

I ended up seeing it today and while the Verhoeven version isn't quaking in it's boots I have to say I sorta enjoyed in a junky sort of way. And, most importantly...........it's not as bad as Battleship! It's basically non stop action really but on a dull afternoon it's glossy CGI and Kate Beckinsale in evil mode didn't make it a total bust.

I have to say it was Gates McFadden who started me on redheads............then Gillian Anderson came along. Must be something about sci-fi shows attracts them.

But then a lot of redheads get blonder naturally as they get older I notice. Like Anderson and McFadden. Like how guys with really dark hair when young often go grey earlier and more heavily than mid colour hair.
I think i was brainwashed as a child to find redheads attractive. Cartoons I watched as a child: Spiderman and his Amazing friends (Firestar), He-man and the Masters of the Universe (Teela), G.I. Joe: The Real American Hero (Scarlet).
